Go Carlie Go!

Today I realized that there are only 7 more weeks until Jared leaves for deployment! That's so close, it seemed like just last week it was 6 months away! I can't believe that it's already been 5 months since I've been in WA as well. Where does time go? Carlie is 8 months old, and I somehow turned 23! Speaking of Carlie being 8 months, she is so close to crawling and I'm so impatient! She can get on her knees and move back and forth like she wants to crawl, but when she goes to move her hand forward, she just falls to her stomach and rolls over. I'm sure it's going to happen sooner than later, but I can't help but be excited!

Vinny always has his way of stealing the spotlight! lol

Carlie is so close to crawling!

Another thing I'm pretty excited about is a trip I'm planning for either July or August to see my good friend Tiffany in Florida! I've never been to the east coast before, and the best part besides spending time with Tiff is going to Disney World and Universal Studios! So I'm really hoping that it all works out! :-)

Jared started working mid shift last night, and I think I like it way
better! He goes to work at 10:30 pm and gets off work at 7:30 in the morning. So he'll go to work, come home and go to sleep, wake up around 5pm and have dinner with me and Carlie and then he'll leave at 10:30 for work! So really, I still get to see him the same amount of time during the day because he used to get off work at 5 on day shift anyways, but now I get the car during the day as well! Plus I think he likes the people on the night shift better as well. I guess it's only for the next 7 weeks until he leaves, but still, if he's happy, I'm happy!

Tulips I got from my mom-in-law for Easter! They made me smile today!

Well, Vinny is sleeping by my side and I need to go to bed but it's soo windy outside and it kind of freaks me out! Ahh! Now it's hailing and it's super loud!!! It kind of sucks that Jared isn't here tonight! Well, I guess I'll live! Good night!

My Humble Jesus Pie!

Today was a great day. Despite the cold I came down with and the last minute cleaning up and dropping almost all the deviled eggs I made last night on the carpet in my dining room, It all came down to celebrating the resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every year I hear the story of the Easter. How Jesus was brutally beaten and hung on a cross for my sins, then on the third day, Easter Sunday, He rose from the grave for my salvation. And every year I go to church and then go on with my life. I know I take everything I have for granted. I know that I unconsciously sin every day of my life. So who am I that Jesus would die for me? It's amazing when you think of it in that way. With every sin that I make, I am pounding the nails deeper into His hands, and yet He still loves me uncon
ditionally, no matter what. What a great and humbling feeling! :-)

What can I say? She the cutest little bunny I've ever seen! :-)

Not only did I go to church this morning with my cutie patootie baby girl, but I was able to have my family and friends over for Easter dinner. I can't tell you how much I love to get everyone together and sit around the table to a good meal! I love cooking for everyone, I love eating with everyone, I love laughing and just being with everyone! It feels so good to be back home again! God really has blessed Jared and I with the opportunity to be back in Washington state, and the house we live in so that we are able to have people over pretty comfortably! Now I can't wait for the next holiday!

I did Kat's hair and make up for prom last year! :-)

My sister is spending some of her spring break with me this week! I'm excited to have her here because I normally just sit alone in this house singing mickey mouse to Carlie all day long. Not that there is anything with that, but sometimes it's nice to have some company! So here's to a good week! It's starting off pretty good! :-)
